With its main train station connecting London and Brighton to the south and Leicester, Nottingham, and Sheffield to the north, Bedford is well-positioned.
Bedford Park, located near the Bedford campus and perfect for walks, cricket, tennis, and basketball, is one of the many parks and open spaces in the vicinity. 206 acres of open land, including lake and river walks, angling, wildlife, and conservation areas, are a short distance away.
Facilities Available
The Gateway building, a three-story structure with high-quality teaching areas, casual learning spaces, lecture theatres, and a new student services centre, is now open.
Both campus Theatres and the main campus Cafe are located in the Campus Centre, while our Physical Education and Sport Science Centre, which was used to train athletes for the 2012 Olympics, our Teacher Education Centre, four dance studios, campus gym, their four-story campus library, and a newly refurnished Students’ Union social space that hosts a variety of student events such as pub quizzes, live music, and various theme nights are all located in the surrounding buildings.
